Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data we process, why, on what legal basis, and what rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679). Socialmap is early-stage and we aim to be fully transparent.

1. Who is the data controller

Socialmap is operated by Output Social (output.cz), based in the Czech Republic (European Union), which acts as the data controller. For any data-protection matter, contact us at socialmap@output.cz. We will provide the operator's full identification and registration details on request at that address.

2. What data we process

• Uploaded videos and their content: the video you submit for analysis, including its imagery and on-screen text. • Analysis results: scores, recommendations, and text generated from your video. • Technical and operational data: IP address, browser type, request time, and basic logs, needed for operation, security, and abuse prevention (rate-limiting). • On-device preferences: language, theme (light/dark), and your 2048 score, stored in your browser's localStorage. • Communications: if you email us, we process your email address and message. We do not require registration or a name, and we actively avoid collecting unnecessary data.

3. Purposes and legal basis

We process data on the following legal bases under Art. 6 GDPR: • Performance of the service (Art. 6(1)(b)), processing your video, analyzing it, and delivering the report you requested. • Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)), securing the service, preventing abuse, rate-limiting, and basic operational logging. • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), where required; you may withdraw consent at any time. • Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)), where the law requires it.

4. How we handle your video

After upload, your video is temporarily stored in our secure storage and sent to a third-party artificial-intelligence provider that performs the analysis. We automatically delete the original video from our storage immediately after the analysis completes or fails. We do not keep a permanent copy of the video in our systems. We retain only the resulting analysis (text and scores), never the video itself. Shared reports contain only the analysis, never a copy of the video.

5. Processors and transfers outside the EU

To run the service reliably we use vetted providers (processors) in the following categories: • An artificial-intelligence provider, analysis of the video. • Cloud infrastructure providers, application hosting and temporary storage of uploaded files. These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area (e.g. in the USA). Where that happens, the transfer is protected by appropriate GDPR safeguards (the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, or an adequacy decision such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework). We will name the specific processors on request at socialmap@output.cz. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for their own marketing.

6. Retention

• Uploaded videos: deleted automatically right after analysis (a matter of minutes). • Analysis results and shared reports: kept for as long as you need them, or until you request deletion. You can have public links revoked at any time. • Technical logs: kept only for as long as necessary for security and operation. • localStorage preferences: stay in your browser until you clear them.

7. Cookies and local storage

We use no advertising or tracking cookies, no pixels, and no profiling for ads. We use your browser's localStorage to remember your language, theme, and 2048 score, this data never leaves your device and is not used to identify you. A strictly necessary authentication mechanism may be used to access the app.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right: • to access your data and obtain a copy, • to rectification of inaccurate data, • to erasure (the 'right to be forgotten'), • to restriction of processing, • to data portability, • to object to processing based on legitimate interests, • to withdraw any consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing. To exercise your rights, email socialmap@output.cz. We will respond without undue delay and at the latest within one month.

9. Complaint to a supervisory authority

If you believe we process your data unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In the Czech Republic this is the Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ), Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, www.uoou.cz. You may also contact the authority in your EU country of residence.

10. Shared reports

If you share a report link, anyone with the link can view it (text, scores, recommendations), but it does not contain the video itself. The URL is long and unguessable, so it cannot be brute-forced or scanned. We can revoke a public link at any time; just email socialmap@output.cz.

11. Security

We use encrypted transport (HTTPS), rate-limiting, security headers, and origin checks. Access to data is restricted to the necessary minimum. No measure is perfect, but we take security seriously and keep improving it.

12. Children

The service is not intended for children under 16. If we learn we have inadvertently processed a child's data without appropriate consent, we will delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. We will note material changes on this page and update the date below. We recommend checking back occasionally.

14. Contact
